Energy Medicine Practitioner

Hi, my name is Katja Broadbent. I am a practitioner of Energy Medicine including Reiki, and Kinetic Chain ReleaseEnergy Medicine is a term that refers to therapies that support the body and mind to heal naturally by bringing the body's energy systems back to their natural balance without the use of pharmaceuticals or invasive procedures. The beauty of the treatments I have learned, is that we can use very simple techniques to see what you may need in the moment - and I can also teach you how to test for yourself what you need to bring yourself further into balance - including checking your food, and any supplements that you may be considering taking.

I offer sessions at my home, in Scales, Wigton, at the Health Collective, in Wigton, the Gymgroup Carlisle, or in the client’s own home.

A Reiki session will offer you deep relaxation, and the opportunity to experience healing whilst you rest. This can be done as a ‘hands on’ treatment, or not, as you prefer.

Kinetic Chain Release is an extremely effective form of physiotherapy that uses a series of 23 gentle mobilisations and stretches to balance the body quickly and easily. This can have a profound effect on any symptoms of pain and physical stiffness that you may have been experiencing - it can also help to clear the mind. KCR is safe and effective for children as well as adults.

An Energy Balance can be done on or off the body. Most people enjoy it hands on as it is comparable to a gentle, clothed massage. In a longer session we can use muscle testing to identify what your body needs most in the moment to bring it more into balance. This could involve acupressure, chakra clearing, meridian balancing or aura strengthening - whatever you need.

Packages of 3 or 6 treatments, and Christmas vouchers / gift packages for loved ones are currently available at 15 - 20% discount. Please get in touch to find out more.

My lovely home treatment room with consultation table and massage couch.

I have also written and published an aerial yoga guide which shows you how to set up your hammock, as well as how to begin your explorations in this medium - a great way to feel better, and have more fun!  As The Oxford Alpine Club we specialise in climbing guides and maps for the UK, Europe, and North Africa, but are also able to publish other selected genres. Such as this Lockdown poetry anthology which is a compilation of poems written by Cumbrian school children during the first Lockdown in 2020. Both are currently in the pre-Christmas Sale
