Eden Energy Medicine

Donna Eden is a vivacious woman in her 80s who sees energy and has healed herself of a variety of serious illnesses since her early twenties.

She is an amazing healer, but no one can heal everyone so she has spent the last four decades devising and improving on a set of simple, gentle exercises that anyone can do to help them balance their own energy and improve their own health. This is called Donna Eden's Daily Energy Routine. 

I challenge you to try it for two weeks, and see what improves. For me, it was my blood pressure - and how I felt on a daily basis. Donna is a very joyful person, and practising Eden Energy techniques brings me back to the joyful, radiant person that I always was.

Eden Practitioners use a system of energy testing which Donna devised to consult the body directly as to what is needed. They will ask for a case history of any pain or symptoms that you have been experiencing and, if you have a particular intention, then you can discuss it or have it in the back of your mind.

Sessions are always conducted fully clothed and, if you prefer to minimise physical contact please say so. Treatments are gentle and non-invasive, and designed to make you feel more comfortable, as well as more balanced. I will always check in with you to see what is comfortable for you in each session.

Afterwards you will be given homework. It won't be strenuous - it will be something simple to support the ongoing improvements in your wellbeing.

My own niche in the Eden Energy world is that I like to sing, tone or hum when I am conducting the healing parts of an energy session. If you prefer me not to, then I won't, but I find that it helps to create the sacred space in which healing can take place, and to move energy that is stuck.

Why do I need to do homework?

We are constantly subjected to information from the outside world on how we should act, react, and feel. I hope that your session will make you feel wonderful. However, it is natural for you to shrug off changes that seem to come from the outside. The only way to convince your body and energy systems that you do want to feel differently, is to keep invoking that new feeling through your homework.

Please tell me though if the homework I set feels like too much. We can always adapt it to fit better with your home or work life. 

What if energy testing doesn't work for me?

'Energy' or Muscle' testing can be the Holy Grail for some people, and a rather thorny issue for others. If you don't like it yet - don't panic - there are many ways to test or self-test, and different methods suit different people. Or you can have your free taster on self-testing and I'll show you how helpful it is for testing your foods or supplements - or getting to the root of a problem yourself. 

What do people notice about your treatments?

I'm stretching the meaning of FAQ here, but you may still be interested in the answer! I particularly love to offer treatments to my various teachers when I can, also others who are carers in some way. They are often surprised at how gentle I am. That's deliberate - I'm a rock climber so I am strong and I know exactly how much pressure I'm applying. When you approach the body slowly, gently and firmly, you don't provoke the resistance that can otherwise come up unexpectedly, and you can establish something of a 'dialogue'.  Our bodies and energy systems do an amazing job at keeping us alive, and moving, and they need to be treated with respect for that. Please always tell me when you feel like you would like more or less pressure, it is completely normal for that to change within a session. 

 What if I don't like to be touched at all?

If you don't like to be touched at all that is fine. You also don't need to lie down if you don't want to. You can tell me about your wishes, and we can use e.g. the pendulum test to see how best to address it through techniques that you can use yourself. I prefer to see people in person, but I have successfully helped others over the phone and on Zoom so we could start with that if that is what you need.
