Summer - Fire
The in-balance statement for Heart - the Yin Fire Meridian - is 'I love myself deeply, in every moment.' This is often clearly difficult to say, especially for those who direct all that love outwards, and do not think of loving themselves first.
The Yang Fire Meridian - Small Intestine - is more subtle. And often out of balance. This poem is still brewing!
Deeply in Every Moment
To love ourselves deeply, in every moment,
We must first see ourselves deeply,
In every moment,
As beings of light.
We are not here to pass or to fail
Nor to spend ourselves utterly.
We are here just to be, ourselves,
Deeply, in every moment
And when we are not,
When we falter, or stumble,
We must pick ourselves up
With a hug, and a kiss.
For to err is human,
To forgive is divine,
And we are both:
Deeply, in every moment.
